Depositing a check using the MSGCU mobile app. After logging in, select Deposit from the menu. Choose which account you'd like to deposit the funds into. Now it's time to take a picture of the check. Press the Take Photos button for the Front of the Check. You may find it helpful to turn your phone sideways for the next few steps. Place the check on a flat surface. Confirm the details are correct and the check is signed and dated on the front. Align the check in the window on the screen. When prompted by the green outline, tap the screen to take a photo. Don't use the camera feature of your phone. You can also switch between Manual and the Auto feature. When using Auto, the app will take the photo for you automatically after a few seconds. If needed, you can adjust the brightness of the image by using the slider bar. Press the trash can if you want to retake the picture. Press continue if the image looks clear and easy to read. Repeat the process to take a picture of the back of the check. Again, you might find it helpful to turn your phone here. Make sure you've signed the back of the check and included "for Mobile Deposit Only at MSGCU" below your signature. Take a picture of the back of the check. Confirm all the details and press Submit. Remote deposits are reviewed before the funds are fully available to you. This is generally within two business days. You may now make another deposit or complete other transactions. You can check the status of your deposit by selecting the deposit history folder icon.
